Fitness for Fun

This community-based fitness program is designed to assist individuals in developing healthier lifestyles through exercise. Participants receive a comprehensive fitness assessment, personalized exercise prescription and 15 weeks of personal training. Follow-up assessments at the program's conclusion allow participants to chart their progress and develop future strategies to address areas of interest.

Office for Studies on Aging

The Office for Studies on Aging was established in 1999 to support and promote research in the field of gerontology, provide advocacy to improve quality of life across the lifespan, and create outreach opportunities for service to an aging population. The co-directors of the Office for Studies on Aging are Dr. Ro DiBrezzo and Dr. Barbara B. RazorSharp

The RazorSharp Nutritional Program allows University of Arkansas student athletes the opportunity to seek one-on-one nutritional counseling in a confidential setting. This joint venture between the Human Performance Laboratory and the University of Arkansas Athletic Department provides nutrition education to athletes, including information on the importance of macronutrients and hydration, grocery shopping, nutritious food selection at cafeterias, and low cost, nutritious recipes, as well as a monthly newsletter.
